- Exhibitor must be a NAJRAE Member.
Junior exhibitors must be the only recorded owner on record in the RAAA database of each animal(s) they exhibit. Cattle must be registered in one junior’s name, no partnership cattle.
If the exhibitor is not the first owner on record in the RAAA database of the animal entered in the North American Junior Red Angus Event, they must have had a transfer of ownership completed so that the owner on record is identified in the RAAA database as the junior member on or before May 15th of the show year.
Females: Only registered Red Angus females in Category 1A (100%) and Category 1B (87% through 99%) will be eligible to show. Category 1A and 1B cattle will show together in the same class.
Cattle entered in this show must be officially registered in one of the following: Red Angus Association herd- book, in the Herd-book of the Canadian Angus Association or any foreign Angus Association Herd-book recognized by the Red Angus Association of America.
All animals entered must conform to all show eligibility requirements of the RAAA, please refer to section J of the Breeders Guide. The show committee reserves the right to confirm breed parentage on any animal in the show.
Cow/Calf Pair Show: Cows with natural calf at side. Calf must not be more than 250 days old on the date of show. Calf at side must be a bred and owned. To be in the bred and owned show the junior must be the breeder and the owner. Your calf at the side of your cow must be registered. We will not accept pending papers.
- The Grand Champion heifer will compete against the Grand Champion Cow/Calf Champion for a NAJRAE Supreme Grand Champion.
