North American Junior Red Angus Event Canceled due to COVID-19

We are committed to helping prevent the spread of this virus by taking prudent steps to protect our exhibitors, their families, sponsors, as well as the community at large. As we have continued to monitor the spread of the COVID-19 virus, it has become clear with the restrictions and uncertainty of what lies ahead. The decision has been unanimously made by the Senior board to cancel all 2020 North American Junior Red Angus Event Activities in Madison, WI.  Kaye Gilbert, President of the Senior Board, said, "May these challenging and uncertain times find us working even closer together so that our membership, families and association thrive."

This is not a decision that came lightly to the board, and with input from our Junior Board, our concern for the health and safety of our exhibitors and communities are our highest priority during this unprecedented time. Please understand both the NAJRAE Senior and Junior Board of Directors will continue to plan and pursue ways to support Red Angus exhibitors throughout the rest of the year and will be answering your questions over the next few days.

Please mark your calendars for our 15th event to be held in Lebanon, Tennessee, June 20-26, 2021. For more information contact us at

The NAJRAE Senior Board met March 22, 2020, with a full agenda. Included in the agenda was much discussion about this summer’s event and COVID19. At this point-in-time, the Senior Board has NOT canceled nor postponed NAJRAE. The NAJRAE Senior Board voted to postpone opening entries to May 1, 2020, and possibly adjusting the entry deadline at a later date. Stay tuned for additional updates after the April meeting. Rest assured the Senior board is not taking this lightly.
